Dishing Up the Dirt

Cottage Cheese Hummus

This creamy cottage cheese hummus has quickly become a must-have in our home—and once you try it, you’ll understand why. Blending cottage cheese with chickpeas creates an unbelievably silky, smooth texture that takes traditional hummus to the next level. It’s rich, light, and perfectly balanced all at once.

Even better? It’s packed with protein, making it a satisfying and nourishing snack you can feel good about. My toddler happily eats this by the spoonful… and honestly, I’m right there with them!

We love serving it as a dip for fresh veggies like carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers, but it’s just as delicious spread onto sandwiches or wraps. You can also dollop it on top of grilled chicken, salmon, or even steak for an easy boost of flavor and protein. It’s one of those versatile recipes you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.

If you’re looking for a healthy, high-protein snack that helps support balanced blood sugar and keeps you energized through the afternoon slump, this is it. It’s quick to make, incredibly satisfying, and truly hard to stop eating.

Do yourself a favor and whip up a batch—you might just find it becomes a staple in your kitchen too. If you give it a try, drop a comment below and let me know what you think! Also- the mini “salad” topping is totally optional but it makes for a more pleasant dipping experience!!
