Today I am taking off my black stretchy pants for the first time since the holidays! All of those pumpkin cookies reallllly made it hard to put my jeans on. But today, today I am wearing my jeans for the first time in weeks. And guess what, they feel pretty darn good.
This is the kind of smoothie you make on a morning when you have a really important day ahead. It’s the kind of smoothie you make when you haven’t been feeling like yourself recently. It’s the kind of smoothie you make when your jeans are feeling a little too tight. It’s the kind of smoothie you make when you feel a cold coming on. It’s the kind of smoothie you make when you want to have an absolutely AWESOME day.
Not only is this smoothie ridiculously healthy but it is one of the tasty ones I’ve made. It is loaded with flax seeds, kale, apple, banana, sunflower butter, pure maple syrup, and almond milk. It actually tastes a lot like a milkshake. I love milkshakes so naturally I love this smoothie!

The Perfect Green Smoothie
1 banana (the more ripe it is the better)
1 pink lady apple
1 cup of raw kale, stems removed
1 tbs flaxseeds
1 tbs sunflower butter
1 tbs pure maple syrup
1 cup almond milk
Blend everything together and enjoy!
Off to check on a few things at Tumbleweed Farm. We are going to put the cover on our greenhouse in a couple of weeks. And a few weeks after that we begin to seed!!!! Woot Woot!
