Dishing Up the Dirt

tahini salad dressing

October 27, 2012

If you were to peek inside our refrigerator at any point during the year, you would likely find a mason jar filled with my favorite salad dressing.

Lemon tahini dressing is amazing. We literally drizzle this stuff on everything! And after a quick trip to the Hood River farmers market to pick up some greens I knew I had to whip up a fresh batch.

By the way, the farmers market was awesome and we are so excited to participate in it next season!

Anyway, back to the dressing….

1 clove of garlic, minced
2/3 cup tahini
Juice from 2 lemons
2 tbs honey
1/4 cup water
Dash of salt

With an immersion blender or food processor mix all ingredients until desired consistency. Don’t have either of those tools? Whisk away!

Off to the farm to seed our winter cover crop!

Have a fabulous Saturday.

  1. Finally made this! It was delish! My roommate and I drizzled it over some israeli couscous, garlic shrimp, and sauteed veggies.
