Dishing Up the Dirt

hoedown

January 26, 2011

You are about to see a lot of cowboy hats, cowboy boots, and lots of twirling.  Taylor and I brought our wedding theme back to the old days when we first met in Montana.  Where all the real cowboys still live.  And get this, the man responsible for our awesome square dance moves came down from Montana to teach all our friends how to dance.  Amazing.  Enjoy.

Now lets get back to cooking!  I will ring my cowbell to that!

You are a stunning bride – and I’ve never even met you!
Love the theme – seems to perfectly suit you and your new husband.

Do tell where you got that fabulous/flirty/fun wedding dress! And LOVE how you did your hair. A true beauty.

Thank you SO much. It was a wonderful evening filled with lots of dancing, singing, and laughing. I would do it all over again tonight if I could!

I’ve never met you either, but started following your blog after your profile in the nytimes because it’s such a great read!

Congratulations on getting married! Your wedding looks like it was a fantastic time with family and friends, and I just love the dress you chose.

All the best to you and taylor and henry.

What a really fun looking wedding! You guys just look perfect square dancing – have you tried contra dancing?

    1. drealieberg says:

Yes we have! Actually the square dancing was more like contra dancing than square dancing. A mix of them both. SO much fun. Do you square or contra dance? This was the best way to get people who would not normally dance out on the dance floor! I highly recommend it.

Wedding photos are fabulous. Lovely bride, dashing groom, guests having a wonderful time. Now all we need is a photo of Henry!

We are quite the pair. Thank you again for following along. We are still finding our own path, but are happy to have people follow us along!

  7. Yes! This looks like such a fun wedding filled with love, style, fun, and country – I’m pretty sure that’s the best combination for a wedding 🙂 You look absolutely stunning in your sassy short dress and cowboy boots. And the hair is perfect. That guy standing at your side looks great, too! 😉 So happy for you two!

Thank you! I highly recommend a country wedding. Honestly, most of our friends aren’t country and this brought a side of them out that was amazing! So much fun. We are sad it’s over!
