My favorite candy growing up was Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. To this day I still have a soft spot for them. I get really excited around the holidays when they come out with their holiday shaped candies. I love the holiday versions because there is more peanut butter in each piece. The Christmas trees, eggs, hearts, pumpkins, you name it, I love them all!
I was craving a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup last night but I didn’t let myself go out and buy one. Yoga and Reese’s in the same night just don’t really go together you know? Instead, I waited until this morning and created this awesome green smoothie. It doesn’t exactly taste like a Reese’s but it kicked the craving.
And in case you all were wondering (which I’m sure you are!) I am SO stinking sore from yoga. It is taking all of my strength just to type this post out. My arms are jello.
Anyway, if you are in the mood for a Reese’s but don’t want to ruin your yoga workout by eating junk this is the smoothie for you! Cheers.

Blend everything together and enjoy!
Heading up for a family snow shoe. It’s a beautiful Oregon day! Have a great weekend everyone!
I really need to buy some cocoa powder. Love chocolate and peanut butter, and while I’ve made smoothies with peanut butter, I’ve never tried chocolate mixed in. That’s a must. Thanks for the idea!
Henry!
Amazing pics, amazing recipe! Chocolate PB is always a winner
I have to try this smoothie! Love this post, where to start?! Yoga arms are the BEST – worth all the pain haha and your pup is the cutest, I love labs (don’t tell Watson I said that…) so glad to have found you!
I think I can get used to the yoga arms!!
This so looks sooooooo good. I’m a little afraid to try it though, because I’m desperately trying to stay away from peanut butter cups and I’m worried this could be a “gateway drug” for me. π
I love this blog. I like to live vicariously through you. Imagining I’m a farmer, but still never endangering my manicure.
“gateway drug” Love it. I am a HUGE fan of your blog as well. Thanks for reading along!
Beautiful snow pic!!! Love the sound of this smoothie, too. I’ve been drinking a lot of green smoothies in the morning for breakfast– I feel like I *should* want warm breakfasts since it’s winter, but smoothies are always appealing!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. π
There are SO many recipes on your website that I am in love with. I decided to comment on this one, because as I was making my green smoothie this morning I had peanut butter in my hand wondering how the heck I could incorporate it this morning. Now I know π I am officially going to be reading your blog. I love that you are a farmer. Yay!
