What can I say…we worked hard in the cold and rain. Apparently we need pizza on a weekly basis. Sometimes a bi-weekly basis is necessary. Depending on how hard we worked that week. And tonight we needed pizza. We worked hard all day. We laid new flooring in one of the green houses, took down a deer fence, and harvested the rest of the carrots. It was a long day. And days like these call for pizza. So what did we do? We recreated a pasta dish I made a couple of weeks ago, and turned it into an amazing pizza dish.
Yumm. This would be a parsley spinach pesto pizza, with chicken and cheese. Awesome!!!
The pesto was from this recipe and it worked really well on pizza. We just added some grilled chicken and cheese. Amazing!
Speaking of parsley, how does this look as a bouquet. I am thinking wedding bouquet! (please disregard the sweater that I have worn for the last 3 nights!)
Hutchins farm parsley. I think it makes a fine bouquet!
I think Henry approves!
We just have to win over the pizza master!
Have a great night!
It’s you! In the absence of those gorgeous lettuce roses of recent memory, the parsley is perfect for your bouquet. Maybe carrot tops for the bridesmaids? The sweater, not so much…
PS This pizza is in the supper queue right behind the beet-za.
Aren’t they pretty!!!! I am seriously thinking parsley bunches now. Minus the sweater and I think I’m good to go!
YUMMY! that looks divine.
It was pretty darn good. I still think the beetza was my favorite though. you have to give that one a try!
