Dishing Up the Dirt

pink grapefruit margaritas

I know it’s only Tuesday, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

The truth is we are TIRED. It has been a loooooong season of farming. Our backs hurt, the muscles in our legs are shot, we have sunburns in places people should never get sunburns and our hearts break just a little bit every day when uninvited guests make themselves at home on our farm. (Yes aphids, flea beetles and coyotes I’m talking to you!)

I hate to complain, I’m definitely a person who tries to live with a “glass half full” kind of attitude, but I’m bushed.

And so are Henry and Taylor.

done!

Today our hearts just were not into it. Taylor picked a bunch of zinnias for me and we headed home for some TLC.

Margaritas and flowers are the way to my heart. Thank you Taylor!
