Dishing Up the Dirt

Dead Battery

August 6, 2010

Here I am at 9:30 pm, tired, finally full, a wonderful glass of chardonnay in my system, and totally at a loss for a picture of this beautiful salad I concocted for dinner.

This is going to be short because it is 30 minutes passed my bedtime and the alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow.  I went to the Belmont Farmers Market today.  We were totally busy and I did not get home until 8:45pm this evening.  I brought home some wonderful essentials for a salad.  Corn, beets, carrots, tomatoes, goat cheese (from the farmers market) and black beans.  Also, Ragab, my go-to gourmet chef did not disappoint and fed me copious amounts of hummus, bread, and stuffed grape leaves all afternoon at the market.  I love him!  Now onto my un-pictured salad (this should be featured in Gourmet magazine it was so pretty!)  My salad was delicious.   However, my camera is out of batteries and did not capture this wonderful creation.  I wish I could take a picture.  It is too late.  The salad is gone and I am off to bed.  Batteries for the camera are on the list for tomorrows errands.  Hope you all have a wonderful night.  Those of you living in the Massachusetts area, I sure as heck hope you have air conditioning.  I am DYING!!

Good night!
